About AiKreyol
AiKreyol is an artificial-intelligence platform that puts Haitian Creole first. It aims to make AI more accessible and useful for Haitians, whether they live in Haiti or in the diaspora. The platform is organised into four spaces: Mande (Ask), for questions, explanations and AI assistance; Aprann (Learn), for learning and practising new skills; Travay (Work), for writing CVs and cover letters, improving documents and other professional tasks; and Kreye (Create), for creative tools and content such as images and videos. Its stated mission is to lower the language barrier that keeps many Haitians from benefiting from AI, while encouraging education, creativity, productivity and innovation in the Haitian community.
