AyiboTV and its sports brand AyiboSport have stopped. The team announced the decision on September 30 in a communiqué posted on AyiboSport's X account, in Haitian Creole and French. "It is with a heavy heart that we announce we are ending the AyiboSport and AyiboTV adventure," the statement reads. "The show you just watched was our last."
Six years of sports coverage
According to the communiqué, the AyiboSport project dates back to 2020 and became "a meeting place for everyone passionate about Haitian and international sport." The team called the 2026 World Cup its best memory: within a few months, it says, AyiboTV became one of the most-watched channels in Haiti.
The statement thanks the show's commentators, technicians and partners, but does not say why the team decided to stop. It also does not say what happens to the AyiboTV website and app.
What it means for viewers
AyiboTV streamed live shows, news and AyiboSport's coverage, along with on-demand content, to viewers in Haiti and the diaspora through its website and an Android app. Its listing on Haititechlist is now marked as stopped.
